French Pharmacy Must Haves # Phytokératine Hair line by Phyto Paris

Bonjour Beauté !! Today I’m posting a new article of my series of posts dedicated to the very best products of the French pharmacy, the ultimate must haves for every woman.

As a disclaimer, I’d like to insist on the fact that I am in no way sponsored nor paid to review any product, I bought everything with MY money, therefore, you can trust my 100 % honest opinion.

As a change, for today’s post I am not telling you about skincare or makeup, no, it is all going to be about hair, yes !

There are today so many amazing hair products available, many of them I knew from you US, UK, NZ , Australian and others beauties, such as my very beloved It’s a Ten Keratin Plus Treatment and my Icannotlivewithout Wen by Chaz Den, and I am thankful for that !

But we, Frenchies also have our really really good hair care products, the ones from Kerastase probably being the most known, for a simple reason, they are so good.

But the brand I want to tell you about today is a genuine « Pharmacy » one : it is « Phyto Paris ».

The philosophy of the brand (which is, in France, exclusively distributed in pharmacy) is that « Hair is just like us, chemicals attack and hurt it, natural products make it good ».

Hence, ALL the active ingredients contained in their products are exclusively plant based, which is pretty cool, right ?

I think I saw Phyto Paris products in the US (at CVS I believe, is this even possible ?) so you’ve probably seen them already, but the range is so large I thought I would give you my very top three, that are packed with vegan keratin.

Here it goes :

Let’s start with the Repairing Thermal Protectant Spray which protects and rebuilds hair internally and externally. The Phyto Paris technology « Kerato-Filler » injects botanical keratin and hyaluronic acid into the heart of the hair fiber to rebuild damaged hair and combat moisture deficiency.

According to the box : « Botanical ceramides from rice bran bind the cuticle to smooth and seal scales and boost shine. Yun Zhi extract, a mushroom brimming with thermo-activated enzymatic proteins, uses the heat emanating from styling devices to seal the injected botanical keratin deep into hair fiber ».

I spray this baby on my wet hair, before I blow dry it, and let it do its magic.

My second must have from the brand is the Repairing Serum for damaged lengths, which is a delicate, lightweight serum that mends split ends, while restoring suppleness and silkiness to damaged ends.

Very important to know : this does not make my hair greasy, at all !

I can give you my word that after only one week of use, you’ll notice a huge huge improvement if you do have split ends. This serum is a savior, trust me !

My third and last favourite from the brand is Photo 9 Nourishing Day Cream with 9 plants, which is a leave-in cream that transforms dry, dehydrated hair into silky soft tresses, while preventing split ends and calming static.

I use it only on my lengths and ends, wet or dry, on the daily. Again, according to the box Photo 9 is « Infused with eight plant extracts and macadamia oil, this weightless leave-in conditioner instantly hydrates, smoothes and protects medium to coarse tresses while preventing frizz and split ends. Hair is left silky soft and illuminated with shine ».

My hair loves it !

Guys, I’m telling you, these products are really great, I have observed an obvious improvement in the condition of my hair from the second week of use, it is softer, more "docile" and is visibly more beautiful (well it is not yet quite Shakira, but I cling).

I hope this post is of any help for you guys, stay around for new posts on the French pharmacy must haves.

In the meantime, please do not hesitate to leave me any request or question you may have about French products or else in the comments.

See You !
